a great night of bottle sharing
hanging out with our favorite beer tender for brunch:
Valentine’s Day? Don’t really care about that. Today we are celebrating completion of phase one of our brewery dream. 11 years ago I walked into a brewery and met a boy. I was pretty square and liked to follow all the rules on the well traveled road, but he encouraged me to be risky: let’s go to Costa Rica, let’s just buy a house since we can’t find a rental that will take big dogs, let’s open a convenience store and sell really good beer, let’s get married, let’s have a craft beer fest, let’s have a kid, let’s open a brewery! This was all pretty scary ground for me, but he was right. I’m still game for taking the long way home.
The Midtowne Market Valentine’s Day Hater’s Box. No I’m not going through these solo! From the left: Bell’s Two Hearted, Parkway Get BENT Mountain IPA, Sierra Nevada Ruthless, Original Sin Hard Cider, Flying Dog Ragin’ Bitch, Dogfish Head Piercing Pils, 21st Amendment Bitter American, Lagunitas Sucks (da best), Boulevard Smokestack Series Dark Truth Stout (another fav), and Victory Hop Devil.
