365 in 2014

2014… you went by in a flash! Happy to have my 365 project done and to review the memories day by day. Mostly surprised to see how much my baby grew into a little boy and how much progress was made on Pale Fire Brewing Company. Ups and downs, lots of love, I’m sure 2015 will hold similar surprises.

Down at the municipal building for paperwork. We love the friendly city and it’s awesome they support local business growth right back. We made the local paper too! DNR headline reads “Brewery Gets Boost From City”

3.1.14 – 60/365 – cellar dinner
After a happy morning spent celebrating lil guys 2nd birthday, we left him with his auntie and went to a friends for a beautiful dinner and a huge bottle tasting from their cellar. It was heavenly. Lots of Upright, BFM of years past, Stillwater, Schneider Weisse, Russian River, and too many others to count. I couldn’t keep up w Untapped. Which is fine because it was great company, idea sharing, dream building and happy friends. We ended with a 41%, palate crushing Sink the Bismarck. I could only handle a quick swirl!

We had a wonderful snowy day and with a grandpa in town, it was perfect timing for us to both be able to attend Left Hand Brewing Company‘s Tap Take Over at Billy Jacks Wing and Draft Shack and Jack Brown’s Joint.

I’m noticing a reoccurring theme in that the books I’m drawn to seem to begin with maps. This read is Wildwood by Colin Meloy w illustrations by his partner Carson Ellis.
